Eqtidar- “International Productivity Internship Programs”

With the ultimate need of aligning job seekers with labor market requirements, JAFCON established the International Productivity Internships Program “Eqtidar” that aims to uplift the job seekers employability skills in productivity improvements by providing them with real on-job training and in the same time acquiring an international qualification from the UK.
 
Eqtidar is a collaborative scheme between JAFCON and a wide range of local and international firms in Bahrain, supported by industrialists and academics. The core of the program is availing an invaluable 3 to 6 months on-job training through company based projects, designed to deliver real benefits to both: the participants and host companies.

Eqtidar Methodology

Eqtidar’s methodology is based on the Level 4 Productivity Improvement Practices Qualification which is designed to strengthen and reposition the productivity phenomena in the working place as well as individual’s life behaviors.

Eqtidar main methodology is Project-Based Learning which is “a learning method in where the students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging and complex question, problem, or challenge”.
